Before Logging into Dataservices Designer you need do the Following:
1.Create Repository(Supported Repositories are Oracle,MS SQL Server,IBM DB2,Sybase ASE,MySQL)
2.then u need to Configure your repository by using DataServices Repository Manager(Start-> All programs->SAP Business Objects XI 3.1->SAP Business Objects DataServices->DataServices Repository Manager) to Dataservices.
3.Before going to Job creation your Repository must be associated with Jobserver and you can link multiple repositories to a single job server.
