Scope of Analysis Issue

Problem: When you have a report with some objects in scope of analysis and any of those scope of analysis objects are not present in result objects section and if any objects added / deleted in results objects section then your scope of analysis section objects will go off and this will be an issue only in Webi report and not an issue in Deski reports.

Example, I am trying to add Object – DDSP into result section and now all my Scope of Analysis objects getting wiped out.

Solution: There is a work around solution to avoid this issue. First add any one of the Scope of analysis objects into Result objects section and then try to add / delete other objects into result objects section this issue won’t occur.

Note: If you are developing the report from scratch, please include your any one of scope of analysis objects also into Results objects sections to avoid this issue in Webi.

We have been converting lots of Deski reports into Webi reports and most of our Deski reports are drill-able reports and almost all the reports are having scope analysis selected and those objects are not present in Result object section in Deski and when any objects added / deleted in result objects, Deski won’t make any issue and the same converted in Webi, we are facing this issue and found the workaround to resolve this issue.

Please apply this workaround in your project to avoid unnecessary issue in Webi.
